Bunny Houses!

Or bunny cubes or bunny huts, because that's what they look like! These were fun to make with the kids. I just made a bunch of square sugar cookies and used royal icing to glue them together. Then the kids decorated them with necco wafers, jelly beans, mini marshmallows, etc. I love how they all turned out so unique.

Another fun activity we have done recently is this Egg Hunt Game from Make & Takes! I didn't have the alphabet fruit snacks like she had, so we just used some Curious George ones. I also added slips of paper into each egg. They couldn't eat the fruit snack until they read what was on the slip of paper. This time we worked on number recognition (#s 10-20). Next time we'll do 21-30. They had a great time finding thier eggs and matching them to their cards. I hid some solid colored eggs for Kaylee in easy spots so that she could participate too.

Happy Spring!

My daughter would have loved to have made these when she was younger. Our best memories are of mother/daughter time in the kitchen. I am joining in the Spring Blog Hop with my edible gumdrop flowers that I made with my own mom growing up. I hope you have a chance to stop by and see them.
