This little cape was sent to my sweet little niece. A super big sister with a big heart and a infectious smile. I just love that girl! Normally, I send a gift card to my nieces and nephews, but I wanted to do a little more for her this year.
I had so much fun making this! I think every girl needs one of these...heck, I'd probably be more productive with my housework if I ran around in a cape too!
It was such a quick and easy project. I tried it on Dallin, my 6 year old son, to make sure it fit since they are about the same size...I wouldn't humiliate him by snapping a picture...but it was a perfect fit :)
I also enclosed a few "necessities" for any super girl. Silly string, lip gloss, and some sour gummies. Nothing extravagent and I hardly spent a thing.A one of a kind cape, for a one of a kind little girl.

I am definitely bookmarking this one to my crafts folder. I love how you added the ruffle to make it more feminine. And of course the color choices. Also that's a fabulous combination of necessities for a super girl.
so adorable, I need to make these for my kids they would love it.
London's always pretending to be super girl. She clothespins a piece of paper to her back for her cape. I need to make her one of these. And perfect timing, her birthday's in a couple of weeks and I finally have a working sewing machine! Thanks for the great idea!
SOOOOOO cute! Love her cape!
